Beginners' Goodgym Starter Session
Can you walk 10km? Do you want to help your local community and environment?
If you are interested in doing good and getting fit you will be welcome to a starter session for 2026.
We will be gathering for a beginners' walk session from Stephens House and Gardens to the Tiny Forest Barnet, Finchley Open Space, Dollis Brook. These are beautiful locations in North London. We will then walk back to Stephens House and garden. Join us for tea, coffee and cake.
Meet in the car park opposite the zebra crossing. Here's the location on What3words: https://w3w.co/range.wipes.kicked
And here's the location of the Tiny Forest Barnet, Henleys Corner near Mutton Brook: https://what3words.com/went.give.torn

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Paul Salman by email at pauls@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 3km and 5km in total.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
