parkrun is a free community event where people walk, jog or run 5k. It takes place every Saturday and everyone is welcome. Volunteers are a vital to ensure the events run smoothly and carry out task such as setting up the event, marshalling, timekeeping, scanning, handing out finish tokens or tail walking.
To volunteer, you need to be registered with parkrun to receive your barcode and ID (number starting with A). You can find more information about volunteering at parkrun here: https://support.parkrun.com/hc/en-us/sections/200112523-volunteering
The first weekend of the month is pacer week at Coldham's parkrun. You can request to volunteer as a pacer, so you can run and volunteer!
To volunteer, please email: coldhamscommon@parkrun.com to say you would like to volunteer and include your ID number (starting with A) in the email. The team will confirm your role and arrival time.
We will meet near the Coldham's Common parkrun sign and volunteer sign in area.
