For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Litter pickers will be provided, but please bring gloves and if possible a re-usable container (bucket, tub, washable bag.. ) to collect the litter. You'll be stepping onto the seaweed, so wear suitable footwear.
There is always a lot of washed-up litter on this beach, but we can make a noticeable difference in an hour.
Meet at Tipner shore at 10:45, accessed from Tipner Lane or from Whale Island Way, and walk along the shore path. What3words location: survey.clots.wacky
If you're making your way from Run Walk Local, don't worry if you arrive late - join us as soon as you can.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
I love to combine keeping active, helping my local community, protecting the environment and having fun with others doing the same.
