If you want to be happier in 2023 this event is a must.
I really enjoyed the first ever edition of the run, especially because I was able to run alongside friends for most of it.
We had a really strong GoodGym Yorkies group last time and the plan is to replicate that.
What to expect at the event:
*Climbing steep stairs;
*Round Sheffield route starts and finishes in Endcliffe Park;
*Climbing seep stairs;
*11 timed stages with unique character totalling 20km of great trails & Parkland;
*Running uphill on a frozen path;
*9 Liason stages in between timed stages that allow recovery (100m - 750m in length);
*Running downhill on a frozen path;
*600m of total vertical elevation;
*More steps;
*2 mega feed-stations on route, as well as BBQ, street food and beer at the finish line;
*Really muddy last 800m 'sprint finish' stage;
*Digital timing system so you can compare your efforts with friends;
*Did I mention hills and steps?;
*Fully way-marked and marshalled course to provide support and encouragement;
Most of us are aiming for the 9am / 9:15am start slots.
We can discuss transport/car sharing nearer to the time.
Entries are now open on SiEntries.
