We'll depart from F&G at chatting speed and avoid the Romford Road as much as possible by diverting via West Ham Park before reaching the church - there'll be a back marker so no-one is left behind. There is a bag drop, toilets are available, and you’ll be brought back to the start afterwards.
We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle
It's a welcome return visit to see Sybil and the team at The Emmanuel Parish Church (Romford Road) - Sybil is looking forward to seeing us (as always!) and assures us there'll be plenty to keep us busy - this time though we'll be inside doing some cleaning, arranging and tidying in preparation for the Christmas Decorations going up.

No need for gardening gloves on this particular task, but a head torch might be useful (to light up some of the darker corners of the church hall) but on the whole it will be well lit so not essential - any other tools will be provided, and there might be post task refreshments too...
There'll be a run option (c1m/1.6km) from Freaks and Geeks (West Ham Lane), and a bag drop - we'll meet there at 6.45pm and return there after the task - alternatively you can meet us directly at the task, where Sybil will undoubtedly give you a warm welcome.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. There is an option to meet other GoodGymers and run to the task. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
