Tonight we'll be going to Waste Not Want Not to help with various jobs. This important organisation rescues surplus food from being thrown away and turns it into nutritious meals and donations for local vulnerable people. They also operate a drop in centre for people living with homelessness with shower facilities and food.
Unfortunately the centre has had to close because of electricity and other issues, but the organisers are working hard to get it open again. We're going to be lending a hand with any jobs that can help make this happen as soon as possible!
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anastasia Hancock (she/her) by email at ana@goodgym.org.
The total distance of this group run is 4km.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Battersea Arts Centre, and Battersea Arts Centre and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.

If you have a question you would like to ask privately, you can email the GoodGym Wandsworth area activator, Anastasia Hancock (she/her), .
