For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
A Play Street is an initiative from the council, whereby they allow residents to close a chunk of a road for a few hours in order to allow residents (children and adults!) to play freely and safely on the road. The local community around Windermere Avenue (N3) have been successfully running play streets for a couple of years. Your job will be to spend a bit of time (maybe half an hour) at one of the barriers at the end of the street, making sure drivers know what is happening and local residents can drive in safely if they need to. And to enjoy the play street with the rest of the residents!
Volunteers should meet at the task in Windermere Avenue, N3
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
