For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
About this session
We'll meet at Woodhouse Moor Park Run, have a coffee & then go and support Ash Road Residents Association with their litter pick in Headingley near the stadium.
Please sign up for Park Run as you normally would via their website.
If you just want to come to the litter pick, they meet every Saturday at 11am outside the off license at the bottom of Headingley Mount (opposite the stadium).
We litter pick for an hour & will provide pickers & bags as long as you sign up in advance.
This task supports
Residents Group looking at ways to improve and enhance the area
Addressing issues which negatively affect the community as a whole as well as individuals e.g. litter, Anti Social Behaviour, graffiti/tagging - but also encouraging initiatives/projects/tasks which enhance/uplift the area and make it a more pleasant and positive place to live e.g painting of BT/Virgin boxes, placing planters at the end of streets, supporting the managment of the local Batcliff wood in collaberation with an LCC Countryside Ranger
