It's Wednesday night and we are doing it right!
This week we'll be heading back to Kelly Avenue Park. We will be continuing our work to help establish two huge mounds and install raised beds for planting.
New to GoodGym Southwark?
It can be daunting coming to your first group run but we are a nice welcoming bunch! All abilities welcome, whether you're a new runner or have been running for years.
Important Information
We meet at Old Spike Cafe in Peckham from 18:30 for a 18:45 start. You can leave bags in the cafe and use their toilets before we head out if you need to.
After a warm-up, we run together as a group. If there are loads of us, there will be a back marker to ensure no one is left behind. We run up to 1.5km to the task where we spend 50 minutes helping out before running back to Peckham (back by 20:15 latest).
If you want to meet us at the task we will be at Kelly Avenue Park just after 7pm. Meeting point will be in the Park itself: https://maps.app.goo.gl/SDy6U26KWGSiSoCw6
We work in partnership with Southwark Council in the maintenance and positive development of the park. Our focus this year is in establishing the garden area as an interactive space for growing food and other plants, and hosting educational workshops with local schoolchildren.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us by email at southwark@goodgym.org.
There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Old Spike Roastery, and Old Spike Roastery and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
