Let's Lift the Curfew 2026: join us for a special session
Tonight we're joining forces with This Girl Can and their Let's Lift the Curfew campaign.
When the clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, millions of women across the UK will once again see their world get smaller as the nights get darker.
Safety concerns affect where they go, when they go, who they go with and whether they can be active outdoors at all.
Whether shaped by past experiences, stories they've heard, or not feeling comfortable or confident in a particular place after dark, many women are unable to be active outdoors or use public spaces in the same way that men do.
In fact, nearly three-quarters (72%) of women in the UK change their outdoor activity routines during winter. Let's Lift the Curfew challenges this reality to ensure no woman has to change where, when or how she gets active because of safety concerns.

No one yetQPCC is the first Community Council in London. We came into existence following the May elections in 2014 after local residents voted for the first London Community/Parish Council to be established. The Council has a unique opportunity to better serve and represent the 12,500 residents of Queen’s Park and we are doing so by focusing on community engagement. We are an apolitical council whose aims are to provide residents with a community they wish to see by improving educational opportunities; improving social and economic wellbeing and improving the appearance of the local area.

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us by email at brent@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 5km and 6km in total.
Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.
