The rain held off long enough for nine Goodgymers to get stuck into a couple of tasks for Paradise Cooperative Gardens.

The beautiful Paradise Cooperative Garden was created from an abandoned and overgrown site into a beautiful smallholding for local people with the original aim of finding and utilising underdeveloped land for urban growing and community gardening.

A mountain of woodchips awaited us, ready to be shovelled into wheelbarrows and spread-out to make two new paths around the garden. While most of the team laid the new paths, a couple of us helped out weeding the impressive vegetable patches, rehoming rogue slugs and snails as we found them.

A big welcome to Emily who joined her first Goodgym Wandsworth run and a huge thanks to Sophie, Annabel, Em, Matthew, Rebecca, Stephanie, Liv and Becky for their hard work at the task.
