4 GG Yorkies arrived at Fulford ready to help transport gravel bag to Escrick Sidings.. Unfortunately, Peter was no where to be found and the mission was at risk of ungravelling fast!!

Legendary Leanne was on the case in no time and had acquired his phone number and we had soon found out he was currently in Leeds. Without our designated driver we had to abandon the original plan but Peter gave us instructions for a slightly amended task... Moving the trailer and loading it up, then digging and sifting more gravel into bags to be moved at a later date.

We set off on a bit of a hunt for bags, shovels, sifting pans, a wheelbarrow and most importantly, the gravel. These items were spread out across two gardens, but before too long we were busy shovelling and sifting and had filled up several more bags. We may have left a few worms and creepy crawlies feeling a little dizzy in the process...

With the new task complete we headed off on a cafe crawl to fuel up ready for the next mission over at Danesmead Wood.

This will improve the access to a dedicated green space for autistic children and young adults . Many struggle to leave the home due to high anxiety. This wild place can give them to space to relax and garden with their families.
