What we lacked in numbers this evening we certainly made up for in (sweat inducing) effort...those forks have never been worked so hard (well since Adam's last visit...).

Our host Taiwo writes tonight's run report (by way of his thank you note to Kyra and I):

"Hello Nick, Thanks to you and the other member (Kyra) of the GoodGym Newham for attending today's work session.

We were unusually thin on the ground, but quality over quantity, we still made a significant difference towards getting the designated area fully under control. The recent rain made the earth soft and thus fairly easy to dig out the roots of the new growth.

Compared to how the area was when we began this project it looks amazing. Almost entirely clear now! Many Thanks. Kind regards Taiwo"

The Greenway Orchard
We're a volunteer led group in Plaistow, supporting the community and their green fingers. Come by and have a look at your local Orchard!

The Greenway Orchard was established in 2016 on a strip of land alongside the Greenway, by Newham University Hospital, and is run by a small dedicated group of volunteers who are keen to establish and maintain the small orchard of diverse trees and plants.
