Two Goodgymers helped out the regular foodbank team to sort food and toiletries ready to be handed out to clients on Monday. We sorted, counted, stacked and weighed the new donations. Then it was all hands on deck for the final countdown to 3:30pm to unload a fresh food delivery.

St Matthew’s became the host of the new Bethnal Green Food Bank in January 2020, a ‘sister project’ of the Bow Food Bank located in St Mary’s, Bow Church.

"We believe abundance and not scarcity, we believe in being good stewards and sharing this abundance and we believe in Bethnal Green."
