Firstly, a very warm welcome to Julia and Ruth who came for their first ever GoodGym session! They both came early as the GROAD volunteers were setting up the main room with tables and clothes rails.

Closer to the start time of 13:00, Claire and Ivar arrived too and helped the team empty Shed 2 and the porch area of all the donations that came last weekend and throughout the week.

Once all the items were in the main room, we started sorting them out into categories. Ruth took on the children's toys, Claire and Ivar hung up men's and women's clothes whilst Julia helped with putting out children's clothes and other assortments. Sam kept the place tidy and took in the new donations that were generously donated by the public. These items were stored away in Shed 2 for next week.

By the hour, we still had a few more boxes and bags to open, so Sam asked kindly to get anyone who could stay to stay an extra half hour to finish off the task.

Kudos to all for coming and volunteering on a Sunday afternoon. Appreciate your time ๐Ÿ˜Š
