Three Goodgymers ran approximately 5k and then plogged along the banks of the River Sherbourne in Coventry on a warm and windy August evening.

When we arrived, we noticed that some of the overgrown nettles and brambles had been cleared and some litter had already been cleared, but we still managed to fill two bags with small pieces of plastic, sweet wrappers and cans. We also sampled some local food- ripe blackberries!! We will need to go back in a few weeks to collect enough for a crumble!

After a good litter picking session, we made our way back to the city centre, narrowly avoiding an unhappy dog and a hungry squirrel!

Welcome to Dongye for his first group run- hope to see you again soon!
