6 super star GoodGym-ers met the lovely Gerry this morning at Palace Road Nature Gardens to help with some much needed jobs! One group of 3 did an upper body work out as they swept and cleared the entire park path with rakes and brooms. It looked so much better, great job guys! The other 3 did a combination of both emptying coffee grinds (kindly donated by the coffee shop across the street) around the bases of some baby tree's and baby vines as an excellent compost for their growth! They then teamed up to clear back an over grown path in the middle of the park. Jobs done!

Palace Road Nature Gardens
A wild oasis in Streatham

This small nature garden was created in the 1980s. It provides a varied habitat of both an open grassland and a wooded area of exotic and native trees. The pond attracts dragonflies and damselflies flying above and frogs and newts swimming below. Gerry always needs a hand to keep the paths clear of brambles and weeds and to make sure the public space can be enjoyed by everyone.
