This evening's group run started at Boyn Grove Park, where we were welcomed by a fabulous sunset.

It was great to have Camilla join us for the first time - welcome to the team Camilla!

We began with a lap of the park, entertained other park users with a few warm up drills and then made like Kate Bush and kept running (and walking) up that hill. We did 3 sets of 5 minutes, with a couple of minutes recovery in between.

This was a more structured and challenging session than the chatty runs and walks we typically do on Wednesday evenings, but everyone did really well.

We then headed to All Saints Junior School, to continue with a task we started in the Summer - turning their blue halls a lovely fresh white. We also threw some Pink into the mix, and some Alanis and Ace of Base too, thanks to DJ Louise's brilliant playlist!

We painted, rollered and chatted for about 50 minutes before it was time to wash up, but even in that short time we completed a first coat on a fairly big space.

It's going to look all-white when the second (and third?) coats go on! Sign up here to help make that happen in our return session next Wednesday.
