Great turnout for two tasks in Chiswick tonight. Nine of us split into two smaller groups to continue the work that was started on sunday, preparing a small plot of land for a wild flower meadow.

Armed with all the right tools (thanks to Amanda and Karen, leader of Abundance London) and a Watson for extra digging power we turned over soil, weeded and raked the land on the corner of Sutton court Road and the A4. The rainfall over the past week meant lots of mud but also made it easy enough to dig.

Not far away another group were helping out with some weeding at Chiswick School Allotments.

Great effort all, working safely outside (despite the wind and rain), looking forward to seeing how this patch of land transforms thanks to your efforts. Whatever tier we're in you can count on a Wednesday night to lift the spirits
