Well there was much entertainment after the fact with today's parkrun as Run Director Nick was faced with the impossible dilemma of incomprehensible results. With autumn in full swing, we could only blame leaves on the line. Fortunately a joint effort between the RD team of Rue Sooz Hilary and Nick, we managed to salvage the data and junior parkrun was saved for another week.

It all started so well, Nick set up, supported by Hilary and Rue. Sarah Sooz and Anta Saffia soon arrived, finalised the last of the setup, then took up their pole positions.

Hilary on the turning point, Sooz by the playground, Sarah under her tree and Rue in the slightly unfamiliar position of tailwalker. (Based on the results experience, we may need Rue back in the safe hands as timekeeper in the future!)

First timer Anta Saffia requested barcode scanning and managed the incredible feat of getting every token returned at the end - not an easy task!

Nick took control as Run Director and once again they were off.

There were more than 50 fleet-footed finishers today, supported by a full band of high-vis heroes.

Please join us next week for a SUNDAY FUNDAY double header!
