Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Lucy Hill
Another Saturday afternoon pick-up for the Bright Morning Star charity. I was joined again this week by Ben and Laura (between the three of us we’ve completed this task a fair few times!).
We were in and out soup-er efficiently this week, loading out rucksacks and Laura’s special suitcase with the leftover sandwiches and subs. Egg-cellent work.
As we planned our journey (where we dropping off in Stockwell or Lambeth today?!), we were Pret by fellow GoodGymmer Oli, who had been on another mission nearby. Nice to brie you!
Then we made our separate ways to deliver the goods to Lola (in Stockwell, not Lambeth, in case anyone was wondering). Lucy and Ben got Pret and wet by bike, and Laura and her suitcase on the bus, and the leftovers were left over with Lola for the charity to distribute. Another good feed for another good deed.
Bright Morning Star Prisons and Homeless Outreach help to rebuild, support and elevate the lives of the most vulnerable people on the street and at their Walk-In Centres. They provide basic and immediate physical and emotional help to the public, and provide a free counselling service
