Special treat for Mr G tonight as he had not one but two of GoodGym Hounslow’s finest arrive to do his weekly shopping. Alan and Michelle shared the task expertly between them with Alan carrying the bags and item labels whilst Michelle looked after the money.

Michelle hadn’t shopped for Mr G for a while so in the supermarket, Alan was able to educate her on the evolution of the shopping list and the changes in item labels and locations. At the packing area, Michelle introduced Alan to a new and potentially more efficient way of handling the checkout machines.

But probably the biggest bonus of the pairing arrangement was that each was able to spot when the other dropped their gloves, scarf or hat, meaning that neither of us ended up with chilly extremities when we ventured back out into the freezing cold evening.
