Mr G had his usual list of groceries for Alan and Sevan today, including cavolo nero. He said how much he liked green vegetables, but they never lasted the week from one GoodGym mission to the next.

That sounded like a challenge, but a few other green veggies had been tried and rejected in the past.

"I like cabbage, dark green ones. I can't stand that other thing you bought me once... kale."
"The long stem broccoli is alright, but I don't get on with the regular one" - Mr G
"How about Brussels sprouts? They'll last a while" - Sevan
"I like Brussels sprouts" - Mr G

So that was the plan to get Mr G some more greens. The only unknown was whether supermarkets would stock them so long after Xmas. What did Brussels sprouts farmers do for the other 11 months of the year? 🤷

Sainsbury's did not disappoint, stocking regular sprouts and also baby ones, meant to deceive people into think that they're cute and tasty (Alan likes them, while report writer Sevan does not!).

The pair delivered Mr G's shopping and he was happy with the contents of his restocked fridge, including some new protein pudding to try out.
