This morning, we were mostly in two teams, with Frances, Joao and Kaz on whip planting and Natalie & I on leaf collecting. Tom brought out the holy grail of tools - a double paddled leaf grabby thing (technical term) - so it's safe to say we were having a whale of a time.

Once we'd collected all the leaves from one sports court (or for those in the know, it's called a MUGA, apparently) Natalie & I helped out with planting the whips, but really the other team had already done most of the work by pulling up a load of brambles/ivy, making holes or T-slots for the whips to fit into & planting the majority of them.

With that all done, all that was left to do was rake some leaves from the path towards our new whips (without smothering them in leaves) and take the tools back 🍂
