It was another busy day at Frenford with over 60 parcels to be packed for local families. It was great to welcome Maggie to Goodgym Redbridge and lovely to see Julia no. 2 (haha) and foodbank regulars James and Linda. Julia (no. 1) also popped by to say hello before heading off to tend to her allotment. We all arrived by foot or bike and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day before getting stuck into the task.

After getting the task briefing from Genevieve, we had time for a quick photo with the banner that Linda brought along for my 50th task. Thanks to Linda for the kind thought and for explaining to everyone that it was my 50th task and not 50th birthday, haha.

As usual the time flew by packing up the parcels to meet the 2 pm deadline, when drivers started arriving to pick them up. Everyone put in a great effort and we left feeling like we'd made a difference.
