It was a lovely, sunny lunchtime at this month's Ealing Mile. It's part of the Ealing half Marathon legacy and offers another way for people of all ages and abilities to get outside and jog or run. Five high-viz heroes from GoodGym Ealing volunteered to make this race happen, a really important contribution. It's fab to be a part of our borough's thriving running community and know that we're making a difference.
WE RUN EALING is the charitable arm of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon. We deliver community-focused running initiatives, many of which are free and open to people of all abilities. Previously known as EHM Legacy, thanks to Ealing Half Marathon, we have done heaps of stuff over the last ten years to help get people moving in Ealing. We have had installed a new drinking fountain installed Lammas Park – popular with humans and dogs! During lockdown we arranged events to encourage Ealing residents to run or walk to dozens of local parks. More recently we have brought the Blended Trails trail-running concept to Ealing and launched Ealing’s first ever Food Bank Run, in partnership with GoodGym and parkrun.

Good to meet you Harvey and thanks for the welcome and show around. Good to also see Caroline again. Nice meeting Raj, even if bumped into you on some races like at the Ealing Eagles 10km.
