Four GG Yorkies found their way to Woodthorpe to tidy up after their summer festival.
Our task was simple: find litter and take to to the skip. As well as emptying the already-full bins, we wandered in amongst the merry festival goers helping them to dispose of their waste.
Within half an hour the space looked neat and tidy, like nothing had ever happened!

We hold various events throughout the year, the biggest one being the Woodthorpe Fun Day.

St Leonard’s Hospice provides care and support for people who are terminally ill or have life limiting illnesses, and their families in York. We need to raise £8.6 million a year to offer these services so fundraising events like the plant sale are vital.
