Today I cycled 4k around sunny Portsmouth along the nice cycle lanes around the edges of the island to Mr D. He told me some nice stories about the area he grew up in and showed me his super snazzy scooter the uses to go to the shops. I got to work with the brambles and a few weeds and vines with some clippers I was grateful were super sharp and worked well to snip-snip-snip away the prickly brambles which were definitely not wanting to be touched, but my trusty gloves helped to protect from their thorns. Mr D offered to put my bottle of water in the fridge (what a guy) and I managed to clear a fair bit of the area. I collected some berries for him, too!
