Ellie, Julie, Daryl and Caprice met in Bournemouth Gardens for a mini run to Meyrick Park. Wearing their head torches and hi-viz they made their way to meet Sue who had cycled to the session. Sticking together they walked the perimeter of the park collecting any rubbish that they could find. Tonight's treasures consisted of bottles, cans, dog poo bags and randomly wheel based items. Ellie finding an actual wheel, Daryl a trolley, Julie and Sue finding a bike! The police even did a drive-by to see what we were up to! We did look a bit strange with head torches lurking in the bushes! After a successful clear up, the runners walked Sue back to her bike, then they made the short run back to the Town centre. With the nights drawing in and the temperatures dropping, head torches and extra layers were a game changer! Definitely remember to pack these for future GoodGym sessions. See you at the next time!
