Title: A fairytale car ride through Westbourne .

Bournemouth Report written by Bournemouth runner

Our monthly quiz tonight saw six residents and five Goodgymmers mingling in two teams to pit their wits against each other. Alas the music part was not to be, as the essential ingredient of a speaker hadn’t arrived. No problem, picture quiz to the ready. Famous and not so famous landmarks… Team “One out” did very well with 19 out of 20 points in that round. Then the Westbourne facts, the fairytale facts and car facts as well as a pot luck round had our brains working very hard! Team “The underdogs” came a close second with 50 points to “One out” with 54 points. Well done everyone!

A noble cause…

Poole Report written by Sophie Cuff

today two goodgymers met to host a stall on poole quay. the new town mayor cycled around the 'lands bounds' and we were there to congratulate him and his team at the end. we set up a stall to promote goodgym, and despite the wind knocking a few leaflets over, we spoke to lots of people interested! we also spoke to some local charities so look out for future tasks! as the rain picked up we watched the local marching band perform, as the pirates were arrested by the mayor!

Sea how much we collected

Poole Report written by Sophie Cuff

On Sunday 4 goodgymmers, Emma, Harry, Loren and Sophie met up in Turlin moor for a morning litter pick. It was lovely to meet Loren who has recently moved to the local area, hope you felt welcomed! We bundled up and attempted to tackle the mounds of rubbish left at the boat yard, this was a difficult task, as cold weather had frozen lots of the rubbish making it difficult to collect. We all regrouped after for a lovely warm cup of tea, courtesy of the Parks foundation. Hope to see you all again soon!

Have your elf a merry Christmas!

Bournemouth Report written by Sophie Cuff

Two GoodGymers Harry and Sophie, attended today’s session, helping Westbourne rotary’s Santa’s grotto. (Congratulations Harry for completing your tenth good deed!) We got dressed up in festive attire to greet the children of Boscombe who were all very excited to see Santa! This was a very fun session, meeting approximately 17 families, which was classed as a ‘Slow’ day! The rotary were very thankful for our support today!
