Saturday 8th August

Lila Taylor earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Lila completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Lila was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

We joined our friends at Belle Isle Park to continue with work to encourage wildlife and diversity. Our main task this evening was raking up the cut grass and getting it safely to the compost pile. We made time for chats and catch ups as well! And enjoyed some ice lollies!

Tonight we were back at one of our favourite spots, the secret garden in newtown. A few tasks tonight (after eating an ice cream and picking apples) meant we split into two. Lucy and Issy re-painting the entrance gate and Craig, Lila and Jo dealing with brambles, weeks and fallen apples. A very nice warm evening to do some good!
Wednesday 8th July

Today the gang were back at Belle Isle Park to carry on helping maintain the area. We started by admiring the new wildflower area that we had worked on a few weeks ago, taking in the efforts all whilst having ice lollies (thanks Lucy!). Then we got to work moving cut grass, paving the way for future wildflower work. We're back at the park next week if you want to join!
A massive welcome to thank you to Lila, who joined us on her first GoodGym session today!
