Wow what a week it has been. With Goodgym being on the front page of the local newspaper and James face all over the papers and social media its been hectic.

This morning Wayne, Katie, Anne, Victoria, James and Katies husband Phil as well as new comer Jamie carried out various volunteering duties at this mornings wet and cold junior park run.

The week of fame was not over for James as he got mentioned and was brought to the front of the bandstand and was given a huge cheer and round of applause 👏🏻 for winning the Sports Woking award for volunteer of the year…🏆 (I was lucky I bagged an autograph last week before he got to famous. 😄)

This morning 96 young runners tackled the 2k course with added obstacles like huge puddles. The quickest time today was 07:55 and a total go 7 PB’s there was fantastic running by everyone.

This Wednesday we are back at the park spreading wood-chip along the Adult park run course… Hope to see you all there.
