Windsor and Maidenhead Report written by Angela Shaw
Five GoodGymers armed with litter pickers attempted a big clean up in the sunshine! Sol was first off the mark tidying up on the way to work. Christine and Carys followed closely behind clearing the streets of Maidenhead. Jane and Angela left the Furze Platt area in a cleaner state than they found it. It was Jane's first Goodgym task and she found it strangely satisfying!

Four GoodGymers headed out in their neighbourhoods for a breath of fresh air and to pick up litter. Viv and Angela were assisted by Flora the dog who enjoyed sniffing out hidden litter in bushes and catching the odd abandoned glove!A wooden tribal statue watched with interest from someones driveway. Carys enjoyed a luchtime screen break and collected a whole bag in Oldfield. Sarah tackled the Cookham litter, there was so much that she couldn't carry it all home!

Despite task leader Louise painting her car instead of the fence, the 5 lovely goodgymmers did a wonderful job of repainting the players walkway fence
With the full fence painted in no time- we put our brushes to one side and made our way down the dark lane back to our waiting transport home
Another task brushed off our list

5 GoodGymers helped out at the Baby Bank this morning. Whilst Carys, Jane and Sheila sorted clothes donations, Carol and Karen were asked to have a look at the Fancy Dress donations. Were there enough in good condition in order to have a pop-up sale just before World Book Day to raise some vital funds. They had fun sorting through the clothes, labelled them with sizes and were pleased to find sufficient for a pop-up sale to be viable. Hurrah!
