Tonight, Helen took us on a muddy run to Bedford Fields where we met Beth who fed us mince pies & mulled wine which went down very well! Thanks Beth :)
We then got to work decorating the roundhouse with Holly,Ivy & other foliage. We got into pairs & had a competition to see who's was best but Beth was very diplomatic and said all were good which didn't satisfy my competitive spirit!
It was a lovely evening doing Christmas crafts & a great session to finish off the year.
Thanks for a great year all & Merry Christmas!
Sunday 14th December

Analise run a race with GoodGym for the first time.
Analise has done their first race with GoodGym. Performing on the day is a lot of pressure; Analise's dealt with the nerves and turned up on the day to make it happen.

Tonight was our Christmas party where we got to celebrate all we'd achieved this year & to have some fun! We met at a church hall to have pizza, sweet treats and play games including charades, silly games with cups & the cereal box game (I guess you had to be there)! We finished off with a quiz & celebrated GoodGym Leeds' numbers this year. We did a whopping 709 good deeds, helping 26 different, local organisations, had 12 socials including our first camping trip & we did 2 races (with 2 more to come in December). What a great time we've had doing it all! From members who have been here throughout, to new members who have become part of the team, thanks so much for making GoodGym Leeds so great!
Shall we do it all again in 2026?!
Thanks to Chloe & Rachael for running games tonight.
Happy Christmas everyone!

Tonight we had a moonlit run through Beckett Park up to the OWLS allotments to help them to tidy up for the winter.
It was very dark up at the allotments but we managed to get loads done by torch & moonlight! Jason, Christian & Freddie took wheelbarrows down to go and get woodchip whilst the rest of us weeded, layed membrane & then put the woodchip down.
Welcome to Freddie & Matthew tonight & welcome back to Katie who's back from her adventures.
Thanks for a great night all!
