Exeter Homeless Partnership

Exeter Homeless Partnership is a project that seeks to change how homelessness is addressed across the City. Our 3-year Comic Relief grant allows us to do this by taking a ‘city wide’ approach to the challenge; given that the costs and consequences of homelessness affect us all.

9 GoodGymers have supported Exeter Homeless Partnership with 3 tasks.

Give Not Now, Then When?

4 GoodGymers collected donations of winter items and dropped them off to Exeter Homeless Partnership!

EHP recently put out an appeal out for donations of winter items and sleeping bags for the homelss in Exeter and we did our best to hlep them out!

Florence and Lucy R dropped some donations of on thier own whilstKlara and Tom did a big collection from the village where they live and then transported it in to Exeter.

As much as we love running there was no way of getting it in on foot or even with our bike trailer! We got so many donations from kind residents in our village that it filled up the whole car!

We got a big thank you from EHP when we dropped it all off and it felt great to be able to contribute a little to their fantatic project, that seeks to change how homelessness is addressed across the City. You can read more about them here and if you have any more donations you'd like to drop off you can do that at the CoLab every Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am- 2 pm.

Tomorrow we are really looking forward to helping Exeter Homeless Partnership painting their new "Giving Hub" again!

Stay safe and keep up all your amazig work, getting fit whilst doing good!

Painting Town White!

8 GoodGymers helped Exeter Homeless Partnership paint their new "Giving Hub" today! Fantastic work and so great to help out such an important project!

Exeter Homeless Partnership is creating a "Giving Hub" in Princesshay, a place where you can donate your old winter items, learn about EHP, and just join the conversation about homelessness. A times like these this could not be more important and we were delighted to give them a hand, painting the hub and getting it ready for opening.

We worked in two staggered groups so that we could maintain social distancing at all times. It was fab to have Pete back from his long stay in Spain and just so nice to all get stuck in together, working hard and chatting lots (in a slightly muffled way through our masks).

In 3 hours we got lots done! Amazing work team! On Wednesday we'll go back to give the hub a final coat and it will be brilliant to see the work complete! Sign up here to join on Wednseday. Also remember that you can donate winter coats, warm jumpers, sleeping bags etc to EHP.
