LEGS CELEBRATE!!! Birthday Bash!
This week we had two big birthdays and we had a fab time celebrating on Zoom!
Kathy turned 50 this week! Huge congratulations! She got 50 squats from each one of us to mark the day! I turned 40 and was given 40 crunches, YAY!
A lockdown birthday might be a bit different but catching up for a joint birthday Zoom party was absolutley brilliant! It was so nice to chat and see what everyone has been up to! Thank you all for coming along!

Oh yes. Pete is training. This is how the greatest atheletes on earth are made. Pete is making it happen. They logged their first training run on the GoodGym site; extraordinary things are sure to follow.

Redbridge
Super Sunday - Litter Picking Olympics (solo)!

For those who are already going outside for their daily walk/run and can do litter picking safely in the area without too many people.
Litter picking is naturally socially distanced and can be done on your own. We all need a bit of motivation so please stay local, be safe and keep moving!
Olympics - prizes and accolades will be awarded for
- 1. The weirdest rubbish item found
- 2. The most interesting litter picking location
- 3. The best (funniest) selfie

Pete has got Strava connected. Strava is a great way to track your progress.

Pete has just logged their first 5k with GoodGym. Pete has joined the ranks of Athletes like Tirunesh Dibaba - running gracefully over 5000 metres. Show Pete some love.

Wow, Pete has completed a 12 month mission streak. That means they've cleared gardens, moved furniture and changed light bulbs in spring, summer, autumn and even winter. Show your support and give them a massive cheer!

CSI: Flowerpots
5 intrepid litter detectives met up on New Year's Day to kick start the new year with some squats at Flowerpots.
Unfortunately the skate park and wooded walks near the river attract quite a lot of rubbish... as well as some police officers conducting an investigation!
"Do you come here often?" is not a question you'd expect whilst wielding a litter picker!
Thanks to Anna, Craig, Lisa and Claudia for burning off the winter frost (and hangover ;-)...) and see you soon!
