Thankfully a slightly cooler session for the team at Clean Break this week. We got the pressure washer out while others used hand tools to remove the weeds we also planted some new plants and watered the garden.

Back at Clean Break for the first Group Runs their since the summer we got to work helping with a general tidy up of their courtyard; sweeping up and weeding. Earlier in the year over many sessions we'd done quite an extensive job reclaiming the courtyard from the weeds using the power washer. Unfortunately they grow back quickly!

We've been at Clean Break for the last few Group Runs helping with a general tidy up of their courtyard; sweeping up and weeding. Earlier in the year over many sessions we'd done quite an extensive job reclaiming the courtyard from the weeds using the power washer. Unfortunately they grow back quickly! we'd resorted to mostly hand pulling of the weeds this time, trying to avoid our favorite sound of metal tools scraping between the cobbles!
It's been great to see over the months how the space has improved and the literal fruits of our labour in the form of a luscious veg patch.

Thankfully the courtyard at Clean Break is shade as it was a hot evening!
We started the task watering the the plants we'd put in on our previous mission. It was fantastic to see the tiny cucumbers and tomatoes starting to form on vines.
Everyone was back at the weeding tackling the tough grass between the paving.
