On Saturday 23rd January GoodGym Colchester was the host for the 3rd in the series of (not) parkrun training sessions which help keep us motivated during the lockdown.
72 runners from GoodGyms all over the country and the Czech Republic got out of their front doors to complete their 5km session.
Thank you for the superb photos.
This week, Saturday 30th January, the baton is being passed to GoodGym Redbridge to host the final (not) Park run for January . You can sign up via this link :- https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/goodgym-not-parkrun-week-4
Once again, a massive thanks to Melanie Young @ GoodGym Bristol (a very savvy computer person ) for creating the results form and who has been putting the results together for our (not) parkruns.
As ever Ian
GoodGym Norwich have teamed up with the Fine City Neighbours project and we have 20,000 postcards that need delivering to people's homes throughout January and February!
These tasks will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.
You'll collect postcards from Hitch or a Task Force member outside The Forum anytime between 5.30-6.30pm, where you'll be allocated a street or number of streets from our list and then run/walk/cycle to that location to deliver postcards through people's letterboxes.
There should be no need to make contact with people in their homes, but if someone does open their door while you are making a delivery, remember to maintain a 2m distance while speaking with them.
This task should be done individually, with a member of your household or in pairs if you wish to work with someone outside your household, while keeping 2m apart as per government advice.
Bring a head torch and possibly other running light equipment if you have them. Also wear bright reflective clothing.
