Starting our run and task at The Mercury Theatre - a venue for many musical shows - in hindsight feels an apt place to remember Olivia Newton-John and weave some song titles and Grease fun into a report. A Twist of Fate perhaps.

Our Summer Nights continued with a run to FairField Gardens of Colchester Borough Homes. With a lot of elbow Grease and hand-jiving we swept and litter picked the dry leaves around the car-park, paths and verges. It was also quite Sandy but unfortunately for this report, as we ran back to base we did not notice a Blue Moon!!

Additionally just to say that Goodgym is Magic and you have to believe we are magic, nothin' can stand in our way (except Cowdray Avenue), you have to believe we are magic (so) Don't let your aim ever stray!

Tell me more, tell me more, I imagine you are asking as you read this...buuuut OH those Goodgym nights...

Nine bags of leaves and dirt later and a warm run back past Castle Park and up Balkerne Hill and it was time for a much deserved dinner!

Firstly a big welcome to Rachel for her first run with Goodgym after we had been on her radar for a while!

The effort was high as usual and the task of cleaning the foodbank was tackled vigorously. The warm up on run down was much needed as we destroyed the dirt and grime armed with brushes, mops and sanitiser!

A big thanks to Bob for buying the floor cleaner and everyone who has donated equipment to the foodbank! You lot are ace!

We took some photos after the task and then sprinted up the hill - sprint and recover!!!! Gooooooooo.

Effort was adjudged between 7 and 14 out of 10?!?! You what!!?
