Great morning morning at Welling FC. It was an awesome task that involved plenty of sweeping, squating and tossing 🤣🤣
We were in the top stand which was shared with a ton of leaves that needed clearing, the team at Welling FC were happy to 'leaf' it to us as they knew the job would get done properly..............🤪
Thanks Martin and Sean for your hard work this morning, i know there wasn't any subs on the bench to take over.
We’re back at welling football club this week. Due to the restrictions we haven’t been there in a while so there will be lots to do.
We are meet at the club for 10.00 really hope you can all make it. Tim GG

8 runners met on a chilly, foggy evening to deliver some COVID leaflets to some of the streets of Welling. After no time at all, our dedicated road was finished and all leaflets delivered. We then took the opportunity to take a short detour past our favourite Christmas house!
We have been asked by Bexley council to deliver some leaflets to try and get as much information out to the public as possible. Public Health have printed leaflets which the council are putting out to the most affected wards – last weekend a team of Community Champions volunteers helped deliver to 4000 homes in Blackfen.
We have been tasked with the following roads:
Welling High Street
East Rochester Way
Hook Lane (from Churchfield Road to Yorkland Avenue)
Westwood Lane (from Bellegrove Road to Hook Lane)
Martin has completed their 15th good deed with GoodGym
Well done team, we had a mamouth task this morning clearing up 7 bins and 3 bin bags worth of leaves out of the gardens of Danson Youth Centre.
On top of it being pretty cold the rain decided to come and say hi too but this didn't dampen our spirits.
Its great to be able to get back out there and do good, i also know we will have a lot of catching up to do within the community. With this being said make sure you get youselves signed up for our next good deed, it'll be great to see you.
