Looking to do some good in Nottingham and get a bit fitter? You’re in the right place!
Welcome to GoodGym Nottingham! We "do good and get fit" across the city and surrounding areas. GoodGym is for everyone, and we're a friendly, welcoming and inclusive group. Whether you like to run, walk or cycle (or none of the above), you'll find plenty of opportunities to help local community projects while meeting great people and staying active.
There’s so much you can get involved with. Recent GoodGym Nottingham tasks have included painting and decorating rooms and outdoor spaces at community centres around Sherwood and Lenton, sorting donations and stock at the Meadows Foodbank, packing Christmas gifts for local children with Bags of Blessings, litter-picking with Nottingham Clean Champions and various gardening projects in and around the city. No two sessions are ever quite the same!
We also support older people across Nottingham with one-off practical tasks such as clearing overgrown gardens, changing lightbulbs or shifting heavy furniture (you'll need a DBS check to take part in these activities).

If you're still not sure, that's completely normal. Trying something new can feel a bit daunting, but we're a friendly bunch and new faces are always welcome. Take your time, have a browse, and get in touch using the "Contact Us" section below if you'd like to find out more.
Whether we're painting community spaces, helping food banks, clearing gardens, planting flowers, or making Nottingham a cleaner place through litter-picking, we're always looking for more people to join us in doing good and getting fit. We’d love to see you at a session soon!
