Foleshill Family Hub have asked us to help them generally tidy up the garden, sweeping and cleaning toys ready for outdoor use.
We visited here last almost 2 years ago, pre lockdowns so it will be great to head back and support them.
Pass the smile and Hearsall Academy are developing a roof garden as a memorial garden. It needs a lot of TLC and things taking up to and down from the roof.
It will be quite a physical task.
Although listed for 9-2, this may be subject to change and it is possible to turn up to a selection within this time e.g. 10-12. Just post in the comments below.
Usually our training sessions are fun and light hearted...well that's going to change. WIth Lockdown potentially lifting in June, it's time to set some targets and get training.
The idea is that we challenge ourselves to a new distance or improving a current PR. I have linked to training plans from 5km up to marathon distance. There's beginners to advanced versions for each distance, and each plan gives some guidance on what runs should be like.
Here's a link to the Jack Daniels (no, not that one) pace calculator so you have an idea of the paces you should be running at for easy runs and intervals.

It was great to get the opportunity to support the Social supermarket when it is open. Due to the building being used as a polling station, it was open on a Tuesday instead.
Having been shown the ropes by Richard, I was able to take customers around the supermarket. Laura and Graeme were already very experienced at this.
Many customers left very happy as there was a surplus of fruit today.
The Social Supermarket have asked for help with a stocktake as they organise donations ready for sharing with those in need through the Social Supermarket in the Foleshill Community Centre. Please note the slightly earlier start.
As lockdown progresses, the Social Supermarket have decided to increase their opening hours and so will open on Thursday evening too. This will be GoodGym community mission supporting the running of the supermarket and helping people chose their shopping. There will be a briefing before the community mission. Can you support them?
