I can move a mountain into a maze
One of our favourite tasks, moving shredded Christmas trees into a maze.
Once we had established our route into and out of the maze, we set to covering the area with chippings.
Taking care to keep socially distant and with our allocated roles, tools and wheel barrows, the three hours flew by.
Looking forward to returning on Monday to make more of a dent in the mountain ⛰ .

Two ♥
At a time when we haven't been able to meet in person for over year, it was great to spend the evening celebrating the good work the GoodGym Coventry team has achieved in the past two years.
Taking inspiration from Taskmaster and our Christmas party, Vic had masterminded some tasks relevant to us.
Tasks included a quiz, canal inspired art work, creating Carriers of Hope and return to plank art work.
Thanks team, you are awesome x

K-alettes do this!
2 GoodGym Coventry members attended the Social Supermarket in Foleshill to support with Thursday night opening.
This evening we helped with welcoming and registering customers as they arrived at the supermarket and then assisted them in choosing their items from the selection of cupboard and dried items as well as fresh fruit and veg. There were also plenty of opportunities to have a chat with customers and find out that these are kalettes!

Supporting at the Social Supermarket

As lockdown progresses, the Social Supermarket have decided to increase their opening hours and so will open on Thursday evening too. This will be GoodGym community mission supporting the running of the supermarket and helping people chose their shopping. There will be a briefing before the community mission. Can you support them?

Ice, rice baby
On a very cold Tuesday evening, 5 GoodGym Coventry members met at the Social Supermarket to count stock to ensure there would be enough food in the stores. There also a lot of rice.
Great to see Eleanor again to discuss triathlon goals, and plenty of new cat discussions with Nigel, Katherine and Laura.
Hope to see you all again soon.

Cat-ching up with friends
Well another lovely Saturday chatting session. Highlights were again Deb's and Laura's cooking, finding out events and places that we would all like to do once / when lockdown lifts and seeing (or not) Laura's cat flap in action. Photo shows Laura's cooking - cinnamon buns! Great to see you all and catch up. See you soon :)
