This was part 2 of sorting through moving boxes to help Mr J settle into his home. Mr J and I worked hard to go through boxes of items, with him telling me whether to discard or keep. Mr J is severely visually impaired and is a wheelchair user so I was acting as his eyes, telling him what each item was so he could decide its fate. We made a great team and progress was made towards the task’s completion.

A really rewarding task for Mr J who needed help and was very friendly. While sorting through boxes following a move it was a case of sorting stuff to get rid of all that stuff and paperwork that we all accumulate but is just taking up space. However, there was also stuff of value to keep and Mr J said keep or bin as we went through ! Plenty of anecdotes and even more interesting to find out he used to work with a fellow GGer…. (The clues in the title !) Look out for a duplicate task because still stuff to sort through…
