Twas a great morning at Ruskin Park Community Gardens with lovely GoodGym folk.
Once we'd all found our way, we had a few tasks to do:
🌱 Weeding in the fruit cages and by the brand new Healing garden(!) - There were some seriously big worms... must be a healthy garden!
🌿Taking branches out the compost and breaking them up into bits
💩Turning over the compost heap - nice and steamy - just how we like it.
What an excellent reason to get out of the house for some sun and fresh air before the clouds come over later!
Nice work everyone!
Ruskin Park Community Garden is an awesome little space on the Lambeth/Southwark border where locals can plant and grow fruit and veg. They've also done work with patients from the nearby Kings College Hospital 👌
Justin always has a bunch of jobs for us, from weeding (of course) to cutting back brambles to turning the compost heap.
Bring some gardening gloves and get stuck in! 🧤
