A fabulously sunny and ‘warmish’ Friday afternoon at the clinic was attended by Eli, Judy and Jo. We met nice and early for our tests and waited in the sunshine until we were given the all clear to head to our locations. Judy took an outside role and was radioing the clinic from the car park, Eli was on front door and temperature duties whist grabbing the afternoon sunshine and Jo was on the radio from the waiting room to the clinic. We had a steady flow of patients through the clinic for the day which meant very few had to sit and wait and most went straight through for their vaccinations. The title of the report came from an volunteer who was with Eli on the front door who kept asking if people were here for Covid to which we found quite funny as we’d hoped they weren’t and were after the vaccination instead. Other highlights was Eli putting on her favourite jumper to which Lauren said it was ‘aggressively fitting’. In other words it had been shrunk and also had developed some marks on it too. We managed to close the church before 8 as patients could start going through the front of the centre and Eli and Jo left the remaining patients in Judy’s capable hands. We have a lot more sessions coming in at the clinic during the week so keep a look out on our happenings page to see them.
