I trundled over to see MxD and was blown away by their wonderful chuckle and sweet, generous nature. They’d like us to clear all the weeds from the back garden patio and has some great tools, so provided you’re ready to get stuck-in, it shouldn’t be a problem.

I got to work scrubbing, pulling and hoeing those sand-coloured slabs and finished with three full garden waste bags. There’s still a third left and some pesky borage to tackle. Bring your gloves and make sure you inhale through those nasal passages ‘cos most of the plants have now gone to seed.
