Wood you like a cup of tea?

On a sweltering hot Sunday, nine good gymers escaped to the coolness of Epping forest, accompanied by Cleo and Sherlock. We took meandering paths though the forest till we arrived at the Holy Innocents Church in a forest glade. Despite Joanne insisting she'd only have a cup of tea, she ended up eating a bevy of cakes! We sat around a couple of tables and treated ourselves to tea and cake whilst Jo told us stories of crimes and gangsters and a trendy young cyclist kindly took photos of us. We returned to Chingford in need of more refreshments so went to the café next to Queen Elizabeth's hunting lodge and cooled down with soft drinks and ice creams.
