This afternoon, Conor and I met in front of Elizabeth House to both do our first food bank sorting tasks with GoodGym. Our lovely hosts explained that today we will be organising the food donations according to their category, while tomorrow all food will be carefully packed for the local families that benefit from this great service. After a lot of lifting, moving, unpacking and organising, it seemed the food was ready for tomorrow's task.

This will be the last week of the food bank service for the time being due to the community centre reopening for children. However, it is definitely not my last time helping at a food bank as I thoroughly enjoyed this very worthwhile task. When one door closes, another opens. :)
