Mr M and his wife were very welcoming when I arrived to clean a couple of kitchen windows for them. Both in their 80's, Mr & Mrs M are still very independent and active, but the positioning of their windows meant that it was now impossible for them to complete this task. Mrs M supplied me with a step stool and a wooden plank, that she had utilised to access the window above the sink. I managed to climb onto the stool, balance on the plank and clean the windows, frames and window ledge. As I repeated this at the other end of the kitchen, Mrs M made me a lovely cup of tea and provided me with some chocolate biscuits ๐Ÿ˜ I had a very interesting chat with Mr & Mrs M, about their work and travels, family and interests, while enjoying a much needed cuppa. I discovered that Mr M was due to visit a musical event the following day, which I was also attending. It was lovely to see him after the event.
